Northwest Barrie is recruiting 20 interested Warriors to form a team UNITED WE FLOAT for the 21 annual
Barrie Dragon Boat Festival Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Heritage Park! The festival brings teams together for
a fun-filled day of camaraderie and fundraising while racing dragon boats on Kempenfelt Bay.

No experience required. While a basic level of fitness is recommended, it’s not a prerequisite. A key aspect is
the ability to learn and synchronize with the team, emphasizing teamwork and coordination rather than
individual strength. Two instructor-led practice sessions will be scheduled before the event.
