DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us for a special service at the church\, followed by a luncheon at the Ferndale Banquet Hall from 12-3 p.m.  The cost of the tickets for lunch is very reasonable: $5 per person\, $2 for children\, $10 for a family. \nTickets can be purchased on Sunday mornings before and after the service or from the church office during the week.  The deadline for purchasing tickets is Sunday\, September 24th. \nAND THERE IS A THEME!!  The church was founded in 1988\, so our theme for the anniversary is the 80’s. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 15th\, NWBUC will be hosting a cruise on the Georgian Legacy out of Penetanguishene\, a beautifully appointed\, 90-foot\, 300-passenger\, double-decked vessel for a 2-hour\, 45-minute cruise throughout beautiful Georgian Bay and its many inlets and islands.  There is restaurant on board\, with a licensed bar.  Adult Tickets $42.46\, Senior Tickets $39.91 and Youth tickets $30.56 (taxes extra). After you register\, we will send you an email with information regarding paying for your ticket. \nWe will meet at the church at 8:45am for coffee\, muffins and donuts\, and then drive to Penetang.  Boarding will commence at 10:30am.  The ship leaves at 11am sharp!! \nTo register\, please use the following link:  Boat Tour Sign Up \nCarpooling is available\, so please indicate when you register if you require a ride.

SUMMARY:1st Annual NWBUC Golf Scramble
DESCRIPTION:We are hitting the links for a day of fun and a time to reconnect with our Northwest family.  Dust off those golf clubs and join us for what is shaping up to be a fun and interactive day. Our inaugural event will take place at the peaceful and breathtaking Bonaire Golf Course\, located at 1699 Woodrow Road\, Coldwater\, ON just 25 minutes north of Barrie along the 400 extension. The event is open to everyone including kids and youth.   All skill levels are welcome. \nThe scramble will consist of 9 holes combined with some silly challenges along the way and even a prize for the best team theme. The  kids and kids at heart will love these challenges.  One might even include marshmallows. A trophy is up for grabs for the winning team too. \nIf you are interested in joining please sign up using this link NWBUC Golf Scramble . Teams of two will be created based on skill level\, but you can request to be paired with a specific person when you are signing up. If you want to attend but need a ride\, please let us know in the comment section of the sign up. Deadline to sign up is Tuesday September 13th. An email will be sent out with more details about the day on Wednesday September 14th.
